GIS & Mapping

Welcome to the City of Hayden’s GIS Department.
What is GIS?  Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a collection of computer hardware, software, and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information (source: GIS.com)

The GIS within the City of Hayden is a tool utilized by all City Departments to assist decision makers and staff in making informed decisions regarding the business functions of City of Hayden departments. The City’s GIS database is utilized by staff to generate maps and conduct various types of analysis. The City of Hayden has maintained GIS layers since 1998. Many of the layers are available in PDF format and can be found below. If there is an additional dataset which you may need, please contact Donna Phillips, GISP at (208) 209-2020.   In addition, if you identify any needed corrections in the maps, and/or you have suggestions for how we can make our products more useful to you also, click the link above.
