Brett Boyer serves the community of Hayden as the City Administrator working for the Mayor and City Council managing the day to day operations of the City.  He serves on the Jobs Plus board and represents the City in various community activities and projects.  He co-chaired the Americas Best Communities Contest, an economic development contest that the area had some success with.

Brett comes to Hayden after serving the City of Rathdrum for more than nine years as City Administrator, before that he served as the Town Manager in Bayfield, Colorado. He has an undergraduate degree in Public Policy from Brigham Young University, a MPA from the Romney Institute of Public Management at Brigham Young University and a JD from Mississippi College School of Law. His philosophy on service in City Government is to provide quality municipal services while being careful stewards of the funds and resources that we are given. To have the best customer service, as service is what we provide to the community and to also be open, honest and inclusive of the public in decisions and processes. He is looking forward to working together to make the City of Hayden a great place to live and play.
